Hi! I haven't blogged since I transferred my domain and I really miss it because it's truly an outlet. Lately, I have been doing sooo much like it's crazy...I'm trying to think back to at time where I didn't feel so not in control of my time. I know that sounds strange, but lately I feel like I am doing a lot, but I could be going so much harder in my life. Don't get me wrong, I hustle my ass off but sometimes I feel like I'm not doing enough. So I'm trying to teach myself that if I don't get something done in one day that it is okay. I'm only human and can only do so much. However, I will be updating my website to add some new apparel and new shoe collection over the next two weeks. People are hitting me up about clothes, my new shoe collection and I promise their coming so please bear with me.
I've been trying to get a handle on my time management, but the struggle is real. I recently enrolled back into college to complete my Web Publishing certification that I started last year. So I'm currently enrolled in two classes and I have one more left. I'll graduate from with my certification in December and hope to start my Master's in IT in Spring 2020. I'm super excited about this, because I hope to start a front end web development business. I've been coding for a year now and I've learned a lot from my job and even more from classes and just overall practicing building websites and I love it! I love the fact that I can type in something on one page and hit refresh and see the nice update on the other page. Even just changing the background color on a page gives me a warm fuzzy.
Moving forward I'm still very much business, I took a break from custom orders because I was overwhelmed with them during the winter. I don't regret it and I know now I really needed it. But I'm still sewing, knitting, and crocheting and now...developing websites. What I hope to do is get some freelance jobs under my belt to help build my web development portfolio. So I'll be creating another website soon and advertising for business so if you know anyone who is in need of basic website setup to start their business please tell them to email me stephanie@royallylush.
